PC/104 Isolated Digital I/O Board

The MSI-NC930  is primary intended to PC embedded application in industrial environment, containing Isolated 24-bit digital I/O, 16 input and 8 output. It can used with TTL low-level input/output circuitry or with solid state relay modules and provides 1000V isolation for interfacing with high level AC and DC signals.

The 24 TTL/DTL/COMS compatible digital I/O lines are arranged into two separated groups. Each group supports 8255 PPI (Programmable Peripheral Interface) chip mode 0 but with stronger driving capability and consists of two 8-bit ports; Port A, Port B. These ports can be functionally programmed as either digital inputs or digital outputs. Bit 0 of port C can be configured to generate an interrupt on IRQ 5, 9(2), 10, 11, 12 or 15 with triggering on either the rising or falling edge. I/O is provided by a 34-pin input and 16-pin output connectors. The unit is an 8-bit stackthrough PC/104 with I/O mapped 16-bit addressing for which addresses A3 thru A9 are switch selectable. Includes PC/104 spacers. Requires +5V only.
